Dick & Nancy Stirling

Dick and Nancy Stirling were married December 16, 1949. They embraced and loved the ranching lifestyle. Dick and Nancy successfully ranched in Stanley and Hyde Counties in South Dakota. Dick was an active member in the South Dakota Stockgrowers Association, National Cattleman's Beef Association, Hyde County School Board and the Highmore United Methodist Church. Dick lost his courageous battle to cancer October 10, 1997.
Nancy continues to remain very active in the ranching and beef industry. Nancy has served as South Dakota CowBelles (renamed to South Dakota Cattlewomen) President, American National Cattlewomen President, interim Executive Director South Dakota Stockgrowers Association, Committee Chairwoman of the National Beef Cook-off, the list goes on and on. Nancy has a firm belief in promoting and educating consumers about the beef industry. Nancy remarried Raymond Neuhauser and they currently make their home in Pierre, SD.
Together, Dick and Nancy raised eight children. Their legacy lives on with 30 grandchildren and 30 plus great-grandchildren (and the number keeps rising --- so stay tuned).

Kathy Heezen

Kathy & Gary Heezen ranch and live in Hyde County, SD. They have two beautiful children - John and Sarah. Their families remain deeply rooted in Agriculture and the Beef Industry. John and his wife, Roxanne and their five children are working on the family farm/ranch. Sarah and her husband Paul and their four children farm and ranch in South Central South Dakota.
Cyndi Scott

Cyndi Scott and her four children carry the love of their roots deeply in their hearts. For many years, they were actively involved within the South Dakota Hereford Association and American Hereford Association. Life takes each of us many directions, her daughters - Stacey, her husband Shannon and daughters Megan and Shelby; Jackie, her husband Ted and children Jana & Kellon; Shari, her husband Johan, and daughter all lead very busy lives in their respective manners. Her son, Justin, is pursuing his Veterinary Science Degree at Okalahoma State University.
Julie & Rodney Fieldsend

Julie & Rodney have deep roots to Hyde County where they have purchased some of the home place and actively farm it. FAMILY is the core of who Julie & Rod are. They have four children that lead extremely active lives and careers. Jennifer & Lance and their four children live in Sioux Falls. Sports, sports, sports keep this famly going. Chanda & Matt with their four also live in Sioux Falls. Dance, sports, and busyness keep their lives exciting. JR is currently living in Ohio and makes frequent trips back to visit his son, Jacoby in Sioux Falls. Kate, Riley and their son, Griffin are also in Sioux Falls and love to take part in all of the family comings and goings!

Allen & Fran Stirling

Allen & Fran now ranch near Newell, SD. Their four children all remain very active in ranching and rodeo. Angela lives and works in Newcastle, WY. Casey and his wife, Lonnie recently welcomed a little boy, Blayden into their lives. Along with fencing, Casey also works the pro-bull riding circuit. Lane and T.R. also are fulfilling their day to day lives with ranching and rodeo in Western South Dakota.

Tom & Carrie Kelly

The cowboy hats pretty much say it all. Tom and Carrie's roots remain deeply entrenched in the ranching lifestyle. They have a small ranch of their own that Tom and their kids raise and train quarter horses on. In addition, they spend any spare time they have traveling to and from rodeos. Taylor recently finished his farrier certificate and works on a large ranch near Birney, MT and rides Saddle Broncs in his spare time. Trent will attend college for welding and will team rope on the College level. Tate and Timber love ranching and rodeo as well. In addition, Timber loves to play basketball and Tate loves anything to do with the outdoors, especially hunting.
