The event will not be held this year due to COVID-19.
The 23rd Annual Stirling Memorial Ranch Rodeo event will not be held this year due to the challenges of COVID-19 for the protection of our Cancer Warriors and their families and friends. We also recognize the financial challenges for many during this time.
And yet, we are honored to continue our commitment to families fighting cancer and our efforts remain stronger and more steadfast than ever.
Although we are not holding the event this year, we are still fundraising as the need for supporting Cancer Warriors continues and is even more important for them during these incredible times.
All monies raised from the Ranch Rodeo Fundraising will go directly to Cancer Warriors who are fighting this deadly disease. The funds can be used for uninsured medical treatment costs, travel expenses to seek treatment, or whatever the family needs at the time they receive the gift.
For the past 22 years, we have been able to assist Cancer Warriors during this difficult time in their lives because of the dedication of businesses and community members helping their friends and neighbors.
Please donate to this year's SFMRR Fund Raiser if you can.

The Stirling Family Memorial Ranch Rodeo was originally started as the Dick Stirling Memorial Team Penning in October 1998 as a memorial to our father who had lost his courageous battle with cancer one year prior. Dad was a lifetime SD rancher, rodeo supporter, community member, and incredible family man to eight children. It was our desire to not only honor Dad's incredible memory; but also, his love of family and rodeo events through the creation of a fun-filled day to work hard and play hard; as well as, raise funds to support other families that were experiencing the need to be cancer warriors. The Team Penning evolved into a Ranch Rodeo that brings time-honored ranching traditions to town for a day of exciting events - Calf Branding, Range Doctoring, Trailer Relay Race and Ranch Bronc Riding plus action packed family chore time. More than 300 families have benefited from funds raised through this amazing day of ranching traditions. We have changed the name to Stirling Family Memorial Ranch Rodeo in recognition of the many family members that have lost their fight and to ensure the focus remains on families and those that are struggling with the horrible disease --- cancer. The funds raised by this event go directly to families that are in the midst of the battle to assist with anything they have a need for whether it be gas money for trips to the doctor, a special family outing, Christmas gifts, or whatever the need may be... We just want to give a little while cancer can take so much!

“I would like to thank you and whoever recommended me for the honor. I think it is a great thing you do to honor the memory of your loved one……I was really surprised and overwhelmed to receive this gift. As you know, a cancer diagnosis comes with more expenses than just medical bills." ---SFMRR Donation Recipient
